VB ‘PopUp Pub’

VB drinkers were given the chance to win their own pop up pub through a Sum­mer Cricket pro­mo­tion. We cre­ated a humor­ous online com­mer­cial to demon­strate the sim­ple assem­bly of the pub which included an illu­mi­nated beer sign which is manda­tory for any pub.

 

A spokesper­son for VB said the Pop Up Pub can be con­structed in under a minute flat as it con­tains only nine pieces and no Allen keys, bolts or instruc­tion man­u­als are required.  The engi­neer­ing inge­nu­ity behind the VB Pop Up Pub has seen it entered in the Aus­tralian Inter­na­tional Design Awards, in the ‘Con­sumer’ category.

 

The Pop Up Pub has been VB’s most suc­cess­ful cam­paign to date, win­ning two APMA awards for 2010 and effec­tively shift­ing VB’s  brand posi­tion­ing from kitsch to stylised.
